At the corner of 15th and California streets on Chicago’s west side sits Mt. Sinai Hospital, which serves as the largest safety-net hospital in the state of Illinois, treating patients that are frequently without health insurance, poor, and often victims of violence.
Now at the frontlines of a new medical emergency, Mt. Sinai turned to Mobile Modular Portable Storage solutions to help address the urgent need for extra space to funnel those patients exhibiting symptoms of the COVID-19 virus.
We delivered two high-security 40-foot ground-level office units to give medical staff a space to receive and assess patients. The units featured lockable doors, panel flooring, A/C units, two high-security windows, and end tables.
